Aldershot & District's Alton depot in Amery Street came into being in 1922 when the former Fire Station was leased and in 1923 was purchased.
Aldershot & District merged with Thames Valley to become Alder Valley on 1st Jan 1972.
The depot closed in Dec 1987, moving to Hampshire Commercials premises at Mill Lane Industrial Estate until 2008,
in Stagecoach hands since 26th Oct 1992 as Stagecoach Hants & Surrey has moved to Farringdon

The 324 opearared two hourly from Guildfird to Southampton via Winchester but not via the Worthies going direct from Alresford via the A31.
The 214 was two hourly from Guildford to Winchester only, with an additional 214 service between Alton and Winchester following just
behind the 324 to give an hourly service on the 214 between Alton and Winchester via the Worthies.
The Sunday service at this point was the 452, not 453 until later.
