VR Workings

On 24th August a group of local enthusiasts and vehicle owners (some from FotEK) organised a road run along the old East Kent 69 service - the Thanet open top bus route from Pegwell Bay Hoverport to Minnis Bay although started from the later terminus point of Ramsgate boating pool. The reason was to celebrate the return to Kent of Bristol VRT6LXB / Willowbrook RVB977S (0977) 'Pride of Thanet' which has recently been bought by FotEK member Paul Houselander. Also there was Jake Bamford's VRT SKL681X 7681, Willowbrook bodied TFN980T (7980), Fleetline / Park Royal RFN953G whilst AEC Regent V / Park Royal PFN874 acted as transport for the photographers.
