Model VR's

With the disappearance of the Bristol VR from the nations roads, many of you will be keeping them alive in model bus fleets.

To be shown here will be photo's from our collection VR's as produced by EFE, and VR's repainted in fictional fleets.
Viewers are welcome to photograph their own model buses, or photo's of any EFE models which we do not have displayed here (a list of which vehicles we have images of will be displayed here) and you can send them to us to show them off on this page - the widespread development of digital photography has made photography of model vehicles much easier, using trial and error methods to see which camera settings get the best results - without having to waste many pounds on processing/development costs!

One to start the page off (26/12/06) is this 'Deluxe EFE' version of SELNEC VRT/SL2 - AJA402L:

Photographs are in the process of being taken for this page, the page has been added to encourage interest beforehand (and for anybody to send in photo's of their models/painted vehicles etc).

Photographs are normally taken with digital cameras in 'portrait' mode to enable the camera to focus on the close up object.

Southdown JWV271W.

Solent Blue Line UFX857S and Southern Vectis DPX683W. The latter is also in the same livery as UFX in 2007, and registered 934BDL after conversion to semi open top.

UWV621S.

Western National 1003 - VDV141S.

Damory 5062 - VPR485S.

XDV606S.

DPX683W.

Badgerline EWS739W. This bus is still in service in Bristol with Abus in 2007.

East Kent BJG671V and CJJ678W. BJG is operated by Chepstow Classic Buses in 2007, and CJJ is scrapped.

WJM832T - the Showbus version of the Alder Valley model.

WJM832T again (same model as above) following a simple project to remove adverts as both versions of the Alder Valley VR are buried in advertising.

Some interesting artwork by NLC - the small size of the image proving a challenge but it is quite effective in what it displays.
