The 10 Chepstow VR's have been hired by Thompson's of Christchurch - they are providing the park & ride service for the boating event for the forthcoming week. Normally at this time of the year, most of these Chepstow VR's are laid up for the winter waiting for next years events so it is good to see them on the road again! ECY987V - Southampton, 14/09/07.

WTG359T - Southampton, 14/09/07. After the Glastonbury event, WTG359T had its (detachable) roof repainted - the main body had already been painted from red into the now standard Chepstow Classic Buses dark blue, the roof though has been painted in the former fleet livery of their single deck fleet - a lighter shade of blue.

WTG359T at the Redbridge Park & Ride site (£6 to park your car here for the day if you're interested in going to the event, the shuttle bus to Southampton runs between 10am and 7pm). This Saturday there will be even more VR interest in Southampton as Southampton Football Club play at home, Damory VRs will be on their usual trip to the stadium and Brijans pair may still be on the Southampton Central station to stadium shuttle if they have not been sold.
